Local Government Act 1976 s 22
Sections 85–93 were repealed by later amendments.
Notice of the time and place of every meeting of the local authority shall be served on every Councillor either personally or by leaving the same at his usual place of residence or at his business address not less than twenty-four hours before the meeting: Provided that the accidental omission to serve a notice on any Councillor shall not affect the validity of any meeting.

Notis mengenai masa dan tempat bagi tiap-tiap mesyuarat pihak berkuasa tempatan hendaklah disampaikan kepada tiap-tiap orang Anggota Majlis sama ada kepadanya sendiri atau dengan meninggalkannya di tempat tinggalnya yang biasa atau di alamat urusannya tidak kurang daripada dua puluh empat jam sebelum mesyuarat itu: Dengan syarat bahawa ketinggalan yang tidak sengaja daripada menyampaikan notis itu tidak akan menyentuh sahnya sesuatu mesyuarat.
