Local Government Act 1976 s 38
Sections 85–93 were repealed by later amendments.
No officer or employee of a local authority shall in any way be concerned or interested in any contract or work made with or executed for the local authority without the prior knowledge and consent of the local authority.
Pekerja tidak boleh mempunyai kepentingan dalam kontrak
Tiada seorangpun pegawai atau pekerja sesuatu pihak berkuasa tempatan boleh dengan apa-apa cara ada mempunyai sangkut paut atau kepentingan dalam sesuatu kontrak atau kerja yang dibuat dengan atau dijalankan bagi pihak berkuasa tempatan itu tanpa pengetahuan dan persetujuan pihak berkuasa tempatan itu terlebih dahulu.
