s 99 Keeping of registers
(1) The owner, trustee or person in charge of every burial ground and crematorium shall keep or cause to be kept a register in which shall be entered the name, sex, age, religion, residence and, as far as possible, the cause of death of every person whose body is brought to such burial ground or crematorium and shall permit the local authority or any officer duly appointed by it to inspect such register and make copies thereof or extracts therefrom.
(2) Any person who, being the owner, trustee or person in charge of any burial ground or crematoriumβ
(a) omits to enter the above particulars referring to any person whose body is brought there;
(b) does not show such register to the local authority or its duly appointed officer;
(c) prevents the making of copies or extracts; or
(d) falsifies such register,
shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding five hundred ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months or to both.

Menyimpan daftar
(1) Pemunya, pemegang amanah atau orang yang menjaga tiap-tiap tanah perkuburan dan tempat membakar mayat hendaklah menyimpan atau menyebabkan disimpan suatu daftar dalam mana hendaklah dicatatkan nama, jantina, umur, agama, tempat tinggal dan, seberapa yang boleh, sebab kematian tiap-tiap orang yang mayatnya dibawa ke tanah perkuburan atau tempat membakar mayat itu dan hendaklah membenarkan pihak berkuasa tempatan atau mana-mana pegawai yang dilantik dengan sewajarnya olehnya memeriksa daftar itu dan membuat salinannya atau cabutan darinya.
(2) Seseorang yang, sebagai pemunya, pemegang amanah atau orang yang menjaga mana-mana tanah perkuburan atau tempat membakar mayatβ
(a) tidak mencatatkan butir-butir yang tersebut di atas mengenai seseorang yang mayatnya dibawa ke situ;
(b) tidak menunjukkan daftar itu kepada pihak berkuasa tempatan atau pegawainya yang dilantik dengan sewajarnya;
(c) melarang salinan atau cabutan dibuat; atau
(d) memalsukan daftar itu,
melakukan suatu kesalahan dan boleh, apabila disabitkan, didenda tidak melebihi lima ratus ringgit atau dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi tiga bulan atau kedua-duanya.
