s 29 Non-completion of registration
(1) When an application for registration of a trade mark is not completed within twelve months from the date of the application by reason of default on the part of the applicant, the Registrar may, after giving notice in writing of the non-completion to the applicant in the prescribed manner, treat the application as abandoned unless it is completed within the time specified in that behalf in the notice.
(2) Where an appeal under any of the provisions of this Act has been instituted in respect of an application for registration of a trade mark, the Registrar shall not give notice of non-completion of the application until the expiration of three months after the determination of the appeal or until the expiration of such further time as the Court may allow.

Tidak lengkapnya permohonan untuk pendaftaran
(1) Apabila sesuatu permohonan untuk mendaftarkan suatu cap dagangan tidak diselesaikan dalam tempoh dua belas bulan dari tarikh permohonan itu oleh sebab kemungkiran di pihak pemohon, Pendaftar boleh, selepas memberi notis secara bertulis tentang tidak lengkapnya permohonan itu kepada pemohon dengan cara yang ditetapkan, mensifatkan permohonan itu sebagai digugurkan melainkan jika ia dilengkapkan dalam masa yang dinyatakan bagi maksud itu dalam notis itu.
(2) Jika sesuatu rayuan di bawah peruntukan Akta ini telah dikemukakan mengenai sesuatu permohonan untuk pendaftaran suatu cap dagangan Pendaftar tidak boleh memberi notis tentang permohonan itu tidak diselesaikan sehingga tamat tiga bulan selepas rayuan itu diputuskan atau sehingga tamat apa-apa tempoh lanjut yang dibenarkan oleh Mahkamah.
