s 30 Registration of trade mark
(1) When an application for registration of a trade mark in the Register has been accepted and either—
(a) the application has not been opposed and the time for opposition has expired; or
(b) the application has been opposed and the opposition has been decided in favour of the applicant,
the Registrar shall, unless the application has been accepted in error, register the trade mark in the Register on payment of the prescribed fees in the name of the proprietor, and the trade mark so registered shall be registered as of the date of application for registration and that date shall be deemed for the purpose of this Act to be the date of registration.
(2) On the registration of a trade mark the Registrar shall issue to the applicant a certificate of the registration of the trade mark in the prescribed form under the seal of the Registrar.

Pendaftaran cap dagangan
(1) Apabila sesuatu permohonan untuk mendaftarkan suatu cap dagangan dalam Daftar telah disetuju terima dan sama ada—
(a) permohonan itu telah tidak dibangkang dan tempoh bagi bangkangan telah tamat; atau
(b) permohonan itu telah dibangkang dan bangkangan itu telah diputuskan untuk faedah pemohon,
Pendaftar hendaklah, melainkan jika permohonan itu telah disetuju terima dengan silap, mendaftarkan cap dagangan itu dalam Daftar apabila dibayar bayaran yang ditetapkan atas nama tuan punyanya, dan cap dagangan yang didaftarkan sedemikian hendaklah didaftarkan seperti pada tarikh permohonan untuk pendaftaran itu dan tarikh itu hendaklah disifatkan bagi maksud Akta ini sebagai tarikh pendaftaran.
(2) Apabila didaftarkan sesuatu cap dagangan, Pendaftar hendaklah mengeluarkan kepada pemohon suatu perakuan pendaftaran mengenai cap dagangan itu dalam bentuk yang ditetapkan dan perakuan itu hendaklah dicap dengan meterai Pendaftar.
