Trustee Act 1949 s 8
(1) A trustee may under the powers of this Act invest in any of the securities mentioned or referred to in section 4, notwithstanding that the same may be redeemable, and that the price exceeds the redemption value. (2) A trustee may retain until redemption any redeemable stock, fund, or security which may have been purchased in accordance with the powers of this Act, or any written law replaced by this Act.

(1) Seseorang pemegang amanah boleh di bawah kuasa Akta ini melabur dalam apa-apa sekuriti yang dinyatakan atau disebut dalam seksyen 4, walaupun sekuriti itu boleh ditebus, dan harganya melebihi nilai tebusan itu. (2) Seseorang pemegang amanah boleh menyimpan sehingga ditebus apa-apa stok boleh tebus, wang, atau sekuriti yang mungkin telah dibeli mengikut kuasa Akta ini, atau mana-mana undang-undang bertulis yang diganti oleh Akta ini.
