s 21 Benefits for former Prime Ministers

(1) A person who ceases to hold the office of Prime Minister, or a person who had previously held the office of Prime Minister before the date of the coming into force of this Act, shall be entitled to such allowances and privileges at such rates and on such terms and conditions as may be determined by the Cabinet from time to time. (2) The determination by the Cabinet pursuant to subparagraph (1) shall apply mutatis mutandis to the allowances, benefits and privileges payable or conferred pursuant to subparagraphs 2(c), (d) and (e) of the Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj Pension Act 1971 as if they were conferred under subparagraph (1).

Faedah bagi bekas Perdana Menteri

(1) Seseorang yang terhenti memegang jawatan Perdana Menteri, atau seseorang yang dahulunya telah memegang jawatan Perdana Menteri sebelum tarikh mula berkuat kuasanya Akta ini, adalah berhak mendapat apa-apa elaun dan keistimewaan pada apa-apa kadar dan atas apa-apa terma dan syarat yang ditentukan oleh Jemaah Menteri dari semasa ke semasa. (2) Penentuan oleh Jemaah Menteri menurut subperenggan (1) hendaklah terpakai mutatis mutandis bagi elaun, faedah dan keistimewaan yang kena dibayar atau yang diberikan menurut subperenggan 2(c), (d) dan (e) Akta Pencen Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj 1971 seolah-olah ia diberikan di bawah subperenggan (1).
