s 1 Short title and commencement
This Act may be cited as the State Grants (Maintenance of Local Authorities) Act 1981 and shall be deemed to have come into force on 1 January 1978.

Akta ini bolehlah dinamakan Akta Pemberian kepada Negeri (Penyelenggaraan Pihak-pihak Berkuasa Tempatan) 1981 dan hendaklah disifatkan telah mula berkuat kuasa pada 1 Januari 1978.
