State Grants (Maintenance of Local Authorities) Act 1981 s 2
(1) The Federation may from time to time make a grant to anyState for the maintenance of local authorities in that State. (2) The amount of the grant made under subsection (1) shall be determined by the Minister responsible for local government after consultation with the Minister of Finance. Laws of Malaysia ACT 245
Pemberian oleh Persekutuan kepada Negeri
(1) Persekutuan boleh dari semasa ke semasa membuat pemberian kepada sesuatu Negeri bagi penyenggaraan pihak-pihak berkuasa tempatan di dalam Negeri itu. Undang-Undang Malaysia AKTA 217 (2) Amaun pemberian yang dibuat di bawah subseksyen (1) hendaklah ditentukan oleh Menteri yang bertanggungjawab bagi kerajaan tempatan setelah berunding dengan Menteri Kewangan.
