Federal Territory (Planning) Act 1982 s 57
(1) The Commissioner may direct any prosecutions for an offence under this Act or any rules made thereunder and the Commissioner may authorize in writing the incurring of such expense as may be necessary for such prosecution. (2) Any authorized officer or any police officer not below the rank of an Inspector may conduct such prosecutions on behalf of the Commissioner.
Pendakwaan
(1) Datuk Bandar boleh mengarahkan sesuatu pendakwaan bagi sesuatu kesalahan di bawah Akta ini atau mana-mana kaedah yang dibuat di bawahnya dan Datuk Bandar boleh membenarkan secara bertulis untuk menanggung apa-apa perbelanjaan sebagaimana yang perlu bagi pendakwaan itu. (2) Seseorang pegawai yang diberi kuasa atau seseorang pegawai polis yang berpangkat tidak rendah daripada Inspektor boleh menjalankan pendakwaan itu bagi pihak Datuk Bandar.
