Nothing contained in this Act shall derogate from or affect the prerogative rights and powers of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong as the Head of the religion of Islam in the Federal Territories, as declared and set forth in the Federal Constitution.
Tiada apa-apa jua yang terkandung dalam Akta ini boleh mengurangkan atau menyentuh hak-hak prerogatif dan kuasa-kuasa Yang di-Pertuan Agong sebagai Ketua agama Islam dalam/Wilayah Persekutuan, sebagaimana yang ditetapkan dan dinyatakan [Bah. I, S. 4-6)
