s 69 Recovery of arrears of maintenance
(1) Arrears of unsecured maintenance shall be recoverable as a debt from the defaulter and, where they accrued due before the making of a receiving order against the defaulter, shall be provable in his bankruptcy and, where they accrued due before his death, shall be a debt due from his estate.
(2) Arrears of unsecured maintenance that accrued due before the death of the person entitled thereto shall be recoverable as a debt by the legal personal representatives of the person.

(1) Tunggakan nafkah yang tak bercagar, sama ada kena dibayar menurut perjanjian atau-di bawah sesuatu-perintah Mahkamah, boleh dituntut sebagai suatu hutang daripada pihak yang mungkir itu dan, Nafkah sementara. kebankrapannya dan, jika tunggakan itu terkumpu kena dibayar sebelum dia mati, tunggakan itu hendaklah menjadi suatu hutang yang kena dibayar dari harta pesakanya.
(2) Tunggakan nafkah yang tak bercagar yang terkumpul kena dibayar sebelum orang yang berhal kepadanya itu mati boleh dituntut sebagai suatu hutans oleh wakil diri di sisi undang-undang orang itu.
