Seksyen 9 Akta ibu dipinda dengan memasukkan sebaik selepas perkataan “satu bulan dari tarikh pelupusan” dalam subseksyen (2) perkataan “(atau dalam tempoh yang lanjut sebagaimana dibenarkan oleh Ketua Pengarah apabila suatu permintaan bertulis dibuat kepadanya)”.
