s 45 Effecting entry, removal and detention
Any Assistant Controller or police officer not below the rank of Inspector may in the exercise of his powers under section 44, if it is necessary so to do—
(a) break open any outer or inner door of the dwelling house or any other premises and enter thereinto;
(b) forcibly enter the place and every part thereof;
(c) remove by force any obstruction to entry, search, seizure and removal as he is empowered to effect; and
(d) detain every person found in the place until the place has been searched.

Melangsungkan kemasukan, pemindahan dan penahanan
Mana-mana Penolong Pengawal atau pegawai polis yang berpangkat tidak rendah daripada Inspektor dalam menjalankan kuasanya di bawah seksyen 44 jika ia adalah perlu untuk berbuat demikian boleh—
(a) memecahkan apa-apa pintu luar atau dalam rumah kediaman atau mana-mana premis lain dan memasukinya;
(b) dengan menggunakan kekerasan memasuki tempat itu dan tiap-tiap bahagiannya;
(c) memindah dengan menggunakan kekerasan apa-apa galangan kepada kemasukan, carian, penyitaan dan pemindahan yang dia diberi kuasa untuk melangsungkan; dan
(d) menahan tiap-tiap orang yang dijumpai ditempat itu sehingga tempat itu telah digeledah.
