s 14 Appeals against closing order or refusal to make closing order

(1) Any owner or occupier who is dissatisfied with the closing order made under subsection 13(2) may, within ten days of the making of the order, appeal to the High Court. (2) Where the court refuses to make a closing order, the Director General may, within ten days of the decision of the court, appeal to the High Court against the decision. (3) An appeal against a closing order shall not operate as a stay of execution but the court may, on application and on sufficient cause being shown, grant stay of execution on such terms as it may think fit.

Rayuan terhadap perintah tutup atau keengganan membuat perintah tutup

(1) Mana-mana pemunya atau penghuni yang tidak berpuas hati dengan perintah tutup yang dibuat di bawah subseksyen 13(2) boleh, dalam masa sepuluh hari dari pembuatan perintah itu, merayu kepada Mahkamah Tinggi. (2) Jika mahkamah enggan membuat perintah tutup, Ketua Pengarah boleh, dalam masa sepuluh hari dari keputusan mahkamah itu, merayu kepada Mahkamah Tinggi terhadap keputusan itu. (3) Suatu rayuan terhadap perintah tutup tidak boleh berkuat kuasa sebagai penggantungan pelaksanaan tetapi mahkamah boleh, atas permohonan dan apabila sebab yang mencukupi ditunjukkan, membenarkan penggantungan pelaksanaan atas apa-apa terma yang difikirkannya patut.
