Notwithstanding sections 15 and 54 but subject to section 62 every reserve police officer shall during any period of emergency or war continue to serve in the Reserve― (a) for so long as the emergency or war lasts; (b) until he has completed his fifteenth year of retirement from the Force; or (c) until he has attained the age of sixty-five years, whichever of the events mentioned is the earliest.
Penamatan perkhidmatan dalam masa pengerahan
Walau apa pun seksyen 15 dan 54 tetapi tertakluk kepada seksyen 62 tiap-tiap pegawai polis simpanan hendaklah dalam sesuatu tempoh darurat atau perang terus berkhidmat dalam Pasukan Polis― (a) selagi darurat atau perang itu berterusan; (b) sehingga dia telah genap lima belas tahun bersara daripada Pasukan; atau (c) sehingga dia telah mencapai umur enam puluh lima tahun, mengikut mana satu yang disebutkan itu berlaku awal sekali.
