(1) The Minister may make regulations for the purpose of carrying into effect any of the provisions of this Act.
(2) Without prejudice to the generality of subsection (1) regulations made under this section may provide for any of the following matters:
(a) the formation, establishment, management and supervision of Fishermen’s Associations and the election and dismissal of officers of such associations;
(b) the auditing and accounting system of Fishermen’s Associations; and
(c) the operation of supervised form of credit programme and the organization and function of members’ credit standing committee of Fishermen’s Associations.

Peraturan-peraturan
(1) Menteri boleh membuat peraturan-peraturan bagi maksud melaksanakan mana-mana peruntukan Akta ini.
(2) Dengan tidak menyentuh keluasan makna subseksyen (1) peraturan-peraturan yang dibuat di bawah seksyen ini boleh membuat peruntukan bagi mana-mana daripada perkara yang berikut:
(a) pembentukan, penubuhan, pengurusan dan penyeliaan Persatuan Nelayan dan pemilihan serta pembuangan kerja pegawai-pegawai persatuan itu;
(b) sistem pengauditan dan perakaunan Persatuan Nelayan;
(c) pengendalian rancangan kredit yang diselia dan pembentukan dan fungsi jawatankuasa tetap kredit ahli-ahli bagi Persatuan Nelayan.
