Private Higher Educational Institutions Act 1996 s 68
s 68 Search and seize without warrant
If an investigating officer has reasonable cause to believe that by reason of delay in obtaining a search warrant under section 67—
(a) the investigation would be adversely affected;
(b) the object of the entry is likely to be frustrated;
(c) the book, minute book, register, document, material, or any other thing sought, whether in the physical form or in the electronic medium may be removed or interfered with; or
(d) the evidence sought may be tampered with or destroyed,
he may exercise in, and in respect of, the premises all the powers referred to in section 67 in as full and ample a manner as if he were authorized to do so by a warrant issued under that section.

Menggeledah dan menyita tanpa waran
Jika seseorang pegawai penyiasat mempunyai sebab yang munasabah untuk mempercayai bahawa disebabkan kelengahan mendapatkan waran geledah di bawah seksyen 67 maka—
(a) penyiasatan itu akan terjejas;
(b) tujuan kemasukan itu mungkin terkecewa;
(c) buku, buku minit, daftar, dokumen, bahan, atau apa-apa benda lain yang dicari, sama ada dalam bentuk fizikal atau medium elektronik, mungkin dialihkan atau diganggu; atau
(d) keterangan yang dicari mungkin diganggu atau dimusnahkan,
dia boleh menjalankan, di dalam dan berkenaan dengan premis itu, segala kuasa yang disebut dalam seksyen 67 secara yang sepenuhnya dan secukupnya seolah-olah dia telah diberi kuasa berbuat sedemikian melalui waran yang dikeluarkan di bawah seksyen itu.
