Private Higher Educational Institutions Act 1996 s 94

s 94 Service

(1) Any notice, order, document or other communication required to be given or served under this Act on a private higher educational institution may, unless some other form of service is prescribed, be sent by registered post. (2) It shall then be deemed that the notice, order, document or such communication has been served on the day succeeding the day on which it would have been received in the ordinary course of such posting. (3) Where the person to whom there has been addressed a registered letter under subsection (1) is informed of the fact that there is a registered letter awaiting him at a post office and he refuses or neglects to take delivery of the registered letter, such notice, order, document or communication shall be deemed to have been served upon him on the date upon which he was informed.

Penyampaian

(1) Apa-apa notis, perintah, dokumen atau perhubungan lain yang dikehendaki diberikan atau disampaikan di bawah Akta ini kepada institusi pendidikan tinggi swasta boleh, melainkan jika cara penyampaian yang lain ditetapkan, dihantar melalui pos berdaftar. (2) Maka hendaklah disifatkan bahawa notis, perintah, dokumen atau apa-apa perhubungan itu telah disampaikan pada hari yang berikutan hari notis, perintah, dokumen atau perhubungan itu sepatutnya diterima dalam perjalanan biasa pos. (3) Jika seseorang yang kepadanya suatu surat berdaftar di bawah subseksyen (1) dialamatkan, diberitahu hakikat tentang adanya surat berdaftar yang menantinya di pejabat pos dan jika orang itu enggan atau mengabaikan untuk mengambil surat berdaftar itu maka notis, perintah, dokumen atau perhubungan itu hendaklah disifatkan telah disampaikan kepadanya pada tarikh yang dia dimaklumkan sedemikian.
