Evidence Act 1950 s 131

s 131 Production of documents which another person having possession could refuse to produce

No one shall be compelled to produce documents in his possession which any other person would be entitled to refuse to produce if they were in his possession, except for the purpose of identification, unless the last mentioned person consents to their production, nor shall anyone who is entitled to refuse to produce a document be compelled to give oral evidence of its contents.

Pengemukaan dokumen yang seorang lain yang memilikinya boleh enggan mengemukakan

Tiada siapa pun boleh dipaksa untuk mengemukakan dokumen yang dalam milikannya yang seorang lain boleh enggan mengemukakan jika dokumen itu ada dalam milikannya, kecuali bagi maksud mengecam, melainkan jika orang yang akhir disebut itu mengizinkan dokumen itu dikemukakan, dan juga tiada sesiapa yang boleh enggan mengemukakan sesuatu dokumen boleh dipaksa memberikan keterangan lisan mengenai kandungan dokumen itu.
