Syariah Court Civil Procedure (Federal Territories) Act 1998 s 141
s 141 Grounds of appeal
(1) Within fourteen days from the date of receipt of the notification under subsection 139(6), the appellant shall lodge with the Registrar of the Court appealed from grounds of appeal in five copies addressed to the Court hearing the appeal.
(2) Every ground of appeal shall state briefly the substance of the judgment appealed against and shall contain definite particulars of the point of law or fact in respect of which the appeal is made and, except with leave of the Court hearing the appeal, the appellant shall not be permitted on the hearing of the appeal to rely on any ground other than those set out in the grounds of appeal.

Alasan rayuan
(1) Dalam masa empat belas hari dari tarikh penerimaan pemberitahuan di bawah subseksyen 139(6), perayu hendaklah mengemukakan alasan rayuan dalam lima salinan kepada Pendaftar Mahkamah yang terhadap keputusannya rayuan itu dibuat yang dialamatkan kepada Mahkamah yang mendengar rayuan itu.
(2) Tiap-tiap alasan rayuan hendaklah menyatakan dengan ringkas isi penghakiman yang dirayukan itu dan hendaklah mengandungi butir-butir yang jelas tentang undang-undang atau fakta-fakta yang mengenainya rayuan itu dibuat dan, kecuali dengan kebenaran Mahkamah yang mendengar rayuan itu, perayu tidak boleh dibenarkan semasa pendengaran rayuan itu bersandar kepada apa-apa alasan selain alasan-alasan yang dinyatakan dalam alasan rayuan itu.
