Syariah Court Civil Procedure (Federal Territories) Act 1998 s 142
s 142 Appeal record where appellant is represented
(1) When the appellant who is represented by a Peguam Syarie has complied with the requirements of sections 139 and 141, the appellant shall prepare the requisite number of copies of the appeal record and the record shall contain copies of—
(a) the pleadings;
(b) the notes of evidence;
(c) the grounds of judgment;
(d) the notice of appeal;
(e) the grounds of appeal;
(f) all documentary exhibits; and
(g) the list of non-documentary exhibits, if any, lodged in the Court.
(2) Two copies of the appeal record shall be filed in the Court hearing the appeal within six weeks of the receipt of the notification from the Court appealed from that the certified copies of the notes of evidence and the grounds of judgment are ready.
(3) The appellant shall within the period limited for the filing of the record serve a copy on each party who has been served with the notice of appeal.

Rekod rayuan jika perayu diwakili
(1) Apabila perayu yang diwakili oleh Peguam Syarie telah mematuhi kehendak-kehendak seksyen 139 dan 141, perayu hendaklah menyediakan bilangan salinan rekod rayuan yang dikehendaki dan rekod itu hendaklah mengandungi salinan—
(a) pliding;
(b) nota keterangan;
(c) alasan penghakiman;
(d) notis rayuan;
(e) alasan rayuan;
(f) semua ekshibit dokumentar; dan
(g) senarai ekshibit bukan dokumentar, jika ada, yang diserah simpan di Mahkamah.
(2) Dua salinan rekod rayuan itu hendaklah difailkan di Mahkamah yang mendengar rayuan itu dalam masa enam minggu selepas penerimaan pemberitahuan daripada Mahkamah yang terhadap keputusannya rayuan itu dibuat yang menyatakan bahawa salinan diperakui bagi nota-nota keterangan dan alasan-alasan penghakiman sudah siap.
(3) Perayu hendaklah dalam tempoh yang dihadkan bagi memfailkan rekod itu menyampaikan suatu salinan rekod itu kepada setiap pihak yang kepadanya notis rayuan itu telah disampaikan.
