s 25 Scope and nature of use for public non-commercial purpose
(1) The authorization to do an act in relation to a protected layout-design under section 24—
(a) shall be both non-exclusive and non-assignable;
(b) shall be limited to the public non-commercial purpose for which the authorization under section 24 is given;
(c) shall be subject to the terms of the authorization given under section 24;
(d) does not permit the sale of the protected layout-design, a copy of the protected layout-design or an integrated circuit in which the protected layout-design is incorporated (whether or not the integrated circuit is contained in another article) to the public; and
(e) shall be limited to the doing of the acts predominantly in Malaysia.
(2) An act done under section 24 in relation to a protected layout-design shall not be taken into account in calculating the duration of protection of the layout-design referred to in section 8.

(1) Pemberian kuasa untuk melakukan sesuatu perbuatan berhubung dengan sesuatu reka bentuk susun atur terlindung di bawah seksyen 24—
(a) hendaklah tidak eksklusif dan tidak boleh diserahhakkan, kedua-duanya;
(b) hendaklah terhad kepada maksud bukan perdagangan awam yang baginya pemberian kuasa di bawah seksyen 24 diberikan;
(c) hendaklah tertakluk kepada terma pemberian kuasa yang diberikan di bawah seksyen 24;
(d) tidak membenarkan penjualan reka bentuk susun atur terlindung itu, salinan reka bentuk susun atur terlindung itu atau litar bersepadu yang dalamnya digabungkan reka bentuk susun atur terlindung itu (sama ada atau tidak litar bersepadu itu terkandung dalam barang yang laın) kepada orang awam; dan
(e) hendaklah terhad kepada pelakuan perbuatan itu terutamanya di Malaysia.
(2) Sesuatu perbuatan yang dilakukan di bawah seksyen 24 berhubung dengan sesuatu reka bentuk susun atur terlindung tidak boleh diambil kira dalam menghitung tempoh perlindungan reka bentuk susun atur yang disebut dalam seksyen 8.
