s 29 Scope and nature of compulsory licence
(1) A compulsory licence granted under section 28 shall be—
(a) both non-exclusive and non-assignable; and
(b) subject to the payment of the remuneration specified by the High Court in the order made under subsection 28(3) to the right holder.
(2) An act done under a compulsory licence granted under section 28 in relation to a protected layout-design shall not be taken into account in calculating the duration of protection of the layoutdesign referred to in section 8.

(1) Lesen wajib yang diberikan di bawah seksyen 28 hendaklah—
(a) tidak eksklusif dan tidak boleh diserahhakkan, keduaduanya; dan
(b) tertakluk kepada pembayaran kepada pemegang hak saraan yang ditetapkan oleh Mahkamah Tinggi dalam perintah yang dibuat di bawah subseksyen 28(3).
(2) Sesuatu perbuatan yang dilakukan di bawah suatu lesen wajib yang diberikan di bawah seksyen 28 berhubung dengan sesuatu reka bentuk susun atur terlindung tidak boleh diambil kira dalam menghitung tempoh perlindungan reka bentuk susun atur yang disebut dalam seksyen 8.
