Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia Act 2002 s 12
s 12 Meetings
(1) The Corporation shall meet as often as may be necessary for the performance of its functions.
(2) Five members of the Corporation, one of whom is a member representing the Government, shall form the quorum of a meeting of the Corporation.
(3) If on a question to be determined by the Corporation there is an equality of votes, the Chairman shall have a casting vote.
(4) In the event of the Chairman being absent or unable to act due to illness or any other cause, any member of the Corporation other than the Director General may be elected by the members present to preside over the meeting.
(5) The Minister shall, in respect of each member of the Corporation who represents the Government, appoint an alternate member who may attend any meeting of the Corporation which the member is for any reason whatsoever unable to attend and the alternate member, when so attending, shall for all purposes be deemed to be a member of the Corporation.
(6) Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Corporation shall determine its own procedure.

Mesyuarat
(1) Perbadanan hendaklah bermesyuarat seberapa kerap yang perlu bagi melaksanakan fungsi-fungsinya.
(2) Lima orang anggota Perbadanan, seorang daripadanya anggota yang mewakili Kerajaan, hendaklah membentuk kuorum mesyuarat Perbadanan.
(3) Jika mengenai sesuatu persoalan untuk ditentukan oleh Perbadanan terdapat bilangan undi yang sama banyak, Pengerusi hendaklah mempunyai undi pemutus.
(4) Sekiranya Pengerusi tidak hadir atau tidak dapat bertindak kerana sakit atau apa-apa sebab lain, mana-mana anggota Perbadanan selain Ketua Pengarah boleh dilantik oleh anggota-anggota yang hadir untuk mempengerusikan mesyuarat.
(5) Menteri hendaklah, berkenaan dengan setiap anggota Perbadanan yang mewakili Kerajaan, melantik seorang anggota silih ganti yang boleh menghadiri mana-mana mesyuarat Perbadanan sebagai ganti anggota itu apabila anggota itu tidak dapat hadir kerana apa-apa sebab dan anggota silih ganti itu, apabila hadir sedemikian, hendaklah bagi semua maksud dianggap sebagai anggota Perbadanan.
(6) Tertakluk kepada peruntukan Akta ini, Perbadanan hendaklah menentukan tatacaranya sendiri.
