Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia Act 2002 s 9
s 9 Vacation of office
The office of a member of the Corporation shall be vacated—
(a) if he dies;
(b) if he becomes a bankrupt;
(c) if he has been convicted of any offence and sentenced to imprisonment for a term not less than two months;
(d) if he is of unsound mind or is otherwise incapable of performing his duties; or
(e) if he absents himself from three consecutive meetings of the Corporation without the leave of the Chairman, or in the case of the Chairman, without the leave of the Minister.

Pengosongan jawatan
Jawatan seseorang anggota Perbadanan hendaklah menjadi kosong—
(a) jika dia mati;
(b) jika dia menjadi bankrap;
(c) jika dia telah disabitkan atas apa-apa kesalahan dan dikenakan hukuman pemenjaraan selama tempoh tidak kurang daripada dua bulan;
(d) jika dia tidak sempurna akal atau selainnya tidak berupaya menunaikan kewajipannya; atau
(e) jika dia tidak menghadiri mesyuarat Perbadanan tiga kali berturut-turut tanpa kebenaran Pengerusi, atau dalam hal Pengerusi, tanpa kebenaran Menteri.
