s 30 Escape from custody while in transit
(1) Any person who, being a person held in custody pursuant to a direction under subsection 29(2), escapes from such custody commits an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.
(2) Any authorized officer may, without warrant, arrest a person if the authorized officer has reasonable grounds to believe that the person is a person referred to in subsection (1).
(3) A person who has been arrested under this section shall be returned to custody in accordance with this Act.

(1) Mana-mana orang yang, sebagai orang yang ditahan dalam jagaan menurut suatu arahan di bawah subseksyen 29(2), melarikan diri daripada jagaan itu melakukan suatu kesalahan dan apabila disabitkan boleh didenda tidak melebihi satu ratus ribu ringgit atau dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi dua tahun atau keduaduanya.
(2) Mana-mana pegawai diberi kuasa boleh, tanpa waran, menangkap seseorang jika pegawai diberi kuasa itu mempunyai alasan yang munasabah untuk mempercayai bahawa orang itu merupakan orang yang disebut dalam subseksyen (1).
(3) Orang yang telah ditangkap di bawah seksyen ini hendaklah dikembalikan kepada jagaan mengikut Akta ini. Permintaan bagi menguatkuasakan perintah pelucuthakan asing
