s 5 Appointment of Director General

(1) The Yang di-Pertuan Agong shall appoint a Director General for the purpose of carrying out the powers and functions assigned to the Director General under this Act. (2) The appointment of the Director General shall be notified in the Gazette. (3) The Director General shall have an official seal for the authentication of public archives required for the purposes of his powers and functions under this Act.
