s 50 Application for registration of heritage object
(1) Any person may apply for an object to be registered as a heritage object.
(2) An application for registration shall be in such form and accompanied by such documents or information as may be prescribed.
(3) The Commissioner may at any time after receiving the application under subsection (1) and before it is determined, by a written notice require the applicant to provide such additional documents or information as the Commissioner deems necessary.
(4) Where any additional document or information required under subsection (3) is not provided by the applicant within the time specified in the notice or any extension thereof granted by the Commissioner, the application shall be deemed to be withdrawn and shall not be further proceeded with, but without prejudice to a fresh application being made by the applicant.
(5) An application under this section may be withdrawn at any time before it is approved or refused.

Permohonan bagi pendaftaran objek warisan
(1) Mana-mana orang boleh memohon bagi sesuatu objek didaftarkan sebagai objek warisan.
(2) Suatu permohonan bagi pendaftaran hendaklah dibuat mengikut apa-apa bentuk dan disertakan dengan apa-apa dokumen atau maklumat sebagaimana yang ditetapkan.
(3) Pesuruhjaya boleh pada bila-bila masa selepas menerima permohonan di bawah subseksyen (1) dan sebelum permohonan itu ditentukan, melalui suatu notis bertulis menghendaki pemohon untuk memberikan apa-apa dokumen atau maklumat tambahan sebagaimana yang difikirkan perlu oleh Pesuruhjaya.
(4) Jika mana-mana dokumen atau maklumat tambahan yang dikehendaki di bawah subseksyen (3) tidak diberikan oleh pemohon dalam masa yang dinyatakan dalam notis itu atau apa-apa pelanjutannya yang diberikan oleh Pesuruhjaya, permohonan itu hendaklah disifatkan telah ditarik balik dan tidak boleh diteruskan selanjutnya, tetapi tanpa menjejaskan permohonan yang baru dibuat oleh pemohon.
(5) Suatu permohonan di bawah seksyen ini boleh ditarik balik pada bila-bila masa sebelum permohonan itu diluluskan atau ditolak.
