National Heritage Act 2005 s 65

s 65 Salvage and excavation works to be licensed

(1) No person shall carry on any salvage or excavation work in any Malaysian waters for the purpose of finding any underwater cultural heritage, except with a licence approved by the Commissioner. (2) Any person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence.

Kerja salvaj dan penggalian hendaklah dilesenkan

(1) Tiada seorang pun boleh menjalankan apa-apa kerja salvaj atau penggalian di dalam mana-mana perairan Malaysia bagi maksud mencari apa-apa warisan kebudayaan di bawah air, kecuali dengan lesen yang diberikan oleh Pesuruhjaya. (2) Mana-mana orang yang melanggar subseksyen (1) melakukan suatu kesalahan.
