Arbitration Act 2005 s 23
Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, the arbitral proceedings in respect of a particular dispute shall commence on the date on which a request in writing for that dispute to be referred to arbitration is received by the respondent.
Permulaan prosiding timbang tara
Melainkan jika dipersetujui selainnya oleh pihak-pihak, prosiding timbang tara berkenaan dengan sesuatu pertikaian tertentu hendaklah bermula pada tarikh yang suatu permintaan secara bertulis supaya pertikaian itu dirujukkan kepada timbang tara diterima oleh responden.
