s 61 Prohibited effluent or noxious matter not to be discharged into public sewer, etc.
(1) No person shall discharge into or allow to be discharged into any public sewer or public sewage treatment works—
(a) any prohibited effluent, without the approval of the Commission;
(b) any noxious, volatile or inflammable substance or any other matter likely to damage or impair the functioning of any public sewer or public sewage treatment works or to interfere with the free flow of its contents or to affect prejudicially the treatment or disposal of its contents; or
(c) any effluent, matter or substance from a garbage grinder or such other device determined by the Commission, without the approval of the Commission.
(2) A person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.

Efluen terlarang atau benda berbahaya tidak boleh dilepaskan ke dalam pembetung awam, dsb.
(1) Tiada seorang pun boleh melepaskan ke dalam atau membenarkan dilepaskan ke dalam mana-mana pembetung awam atau tempat rawatan kumbahan awam—
(a) apa-apa efluen terlarang, tanpa kelulusan Suruhanjaya;
(b) apa-apa bahan berbahaya, mudah meruap atau mudah terbakar atau apa-apa benda lain yang mungkin merosakkan atau mengurangkan fungsi mana-mana pembetung awam atau tempat rawatan kumbahan awam atau mengganggu aliran bebas kandungannya atau menjejaskan perawatan atau pelupusan kandungannya; atau
(c) apa-apa efluen, benda atau bahan daripada pengisar sampah atau apa-apa peranti lain yang ditentukan oleh Suruhanjaya, tanpa kelulusan Suruhanjaya.
(2) Seseorang yang melanggar subseksyen (1) melakukan suatu kesalahan dan boleh, apabila disabitkan, didenda tidak melebihi satu ratus ribu ringgit atau dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi satu tahun atau kedua-duanya.
