s 1 Short title and commencement
(1) This Act may be cited as the Youth Societies and Youth Development Act 2007.
(2) This Act comes into operation on such date as the Minister may appoint by notification in the Gazette, and the Minister may appoint different dates—
(a) for the coming into operation of this Act in different parts of Malaysia;
(b) for the coming into operation of different provisions of this Act; or
(c) for the coming into operation of different provisions of this Act in different parts of Malaysia.

Tajuk ringkas dan permulaan kuat kuasa
(1) Akta ini bolehlah dinamakan Akta Pertubuhan Belia dan Pembangunan Belia 2007.
(2) Akta ini mula berkuat kuasa pada tarikh yang ditetapkan oleh Menteri melalui pemberitahuan dalam Warta, dan Menteri boleh menetapkan tarikh-tarikh yang berlainan—
(a) bagi permulaan kuat kuasa Akta ini dalam bahagian yang berlainan di Malaysia;
(b) bagi permulaan kuat kuasa peruntukan yang berlainan Akta ini; atau
(c) bagi permulaan kuat kuasa peruntukan yang berlainan Akta ini dalam bahagian yang berlainan di Malaysia.
