Youth Societies and Youth Development Act 2007 s 44
(1) A joint secretariat of the Council consisting of officers from the department responsible for youth and the main body of youth societies at the national level shall be responsible in carrying out the functions of the Council. (2) The Minister shall appoint a public officer to be the secretary to the joint secretariat who shall be responsible for the overall administration and management of the day to day affairs of the Council and the joint secretariat.
Sekretariat
(1) Suatu sekretariat bersama Majlis yang terdiri daripada pegawai daripada jabatan yang bertanggungjawab bagi belia dan badan induk pertubuhan belia di peringkat kebangsaan hendaklah bertanggungjawab dalam menjalankan fungsi Majlis. (2) Menteri hendaklah melantik seorang pegawai awam untuk menjadi setiausaha kepada sekretariat bersama yang hendaklah bertanggungjawab untuk pentadbiran dan pengurusan hal ehwal hari ke hari keseluruhannya Majlis dan sekretariat bersama.
