s 56 Common seal
(1) The common seal of the Institute shall bear a device as approved by the Institute and the seal may from time to time be broken, changed, altered and made anew as the Institute thinks fit.
(2) The common seal shall be kept in the custody of the Chief Executive Officer or any other person authorized by either the Chief Executive Officer or by such other person authorized by the Chief Executive Officer in writing.
(3) All deeds, documents and other instruments purporting to be sealed with the common seal and authenticated in accordance with subsection (2) shall, until the contrary is proved, be deemed to have been validly executed.
(4) Any deed, document and other instrument which, if executed by a person not being a body corporate, is not required to be under seal may in like manner be executed by a member of the Institute or an employee of the Institute authorized in that behalf.
(5) The common seal of the Institute shall be officially and judicially noted.

Meterai perbadanan
(1) Meterai perbadanan Institut hendaklah mempunyai suatu tanda yang diluluskan oleh Institut dan meterai itu boleh dari semasa ke semasa dipecahkan, ditukar, diubah dan dibuat baru sebagaimana yang difikirkan patut oleh Institut.
(2) Meterai perbadanan itu hendaklah disimpan dalam jagaan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif atau mana-mana orang lain yang diberi kuasa oleh sama ada Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif atau oleh manamana orang lain yang dibenarkan oleh Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif secara bertulis.
(3) Segala surat ikatan, dokumen dan surat cara lain yang berupa sebagai dimeteraikan dengan meterai perbadanan itu dan disahkan mengikut subseksyen (2) hendaklah, sehingga dibuktikan sebaliknya disifatkan telah disempurnakan dengan sah.
(4) Apa-apa surat ikatan, dokumen dan surat cara lain, jika disempurnakan oleh seseorang yang bukan suatu pertubuhan perbadanan, tidak dikehendaki supaya dimeteraikan boleh disempurnakan mengikut cara yang serupa oleh seorang anggota Institut atau seorang pekerja Institut yang diberi kuasa bagi maksud itu.
(5) Meterai perbadanan Institut hendaklah diberi pengiktirafan rasmi dan kehakiman.
