Anti-Trafficking in Persons and Anti-Smuggling of Migrants Act 2007 s 19
Any person who knowingly recruits, or agrees to recruit, another person to participate in the commission of an act of trafficking in persons, commits an offence and shall, on conviction be punished, with imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years, and shall also be liable to fine.
Merekrut orang
Mana-mana orang yang dengan diketahuinya merekrut, atau bersetuju untuk merekrut, orang lain untuk menyertai pelakuan suatu perbuatan pemerdagangan orang melakukan suatu kesalahan dan hendaklah, apabila disabitkan, dihukum dengan pemenjaraan selama tempoh tidak melebihi sepuluh tahun, dan boleh juga didenda.
