s 47 Extension of jurisdiction by agreement
(1) Notwithstanding that the amount or value of the subject matter claimed or in issue exceeds fifty thousand ringgit, the Tribunal shall have jurisdiction to hear and determine the claim if the parties have entered into an agreement in writing that the Tribunal shall have jurisdiction to hear and determine the claim.
(2) An agreement may be made under subsection (1)—
(a) before a claim is lodged under section 44; or
(b) where a claim has been lodged under section 44, at any time before the Tribunal has recorded an agreed settlement in respect of the claim under subsection 52(3) or has determined the claim under section 57, as the case may be.

Peluasan bidang kuasa melalui perjanjian
(1) Walaupun amaun atau nilai hal perkara yang dituntut atau yang dipertikaikan melebihi lima puluh ribu ringgit, Tribunal hendaklah mempunyai bidang kuasa untuk mendengar dan memutuskan tuntutan jika pihak-pihak telah membuat suatu perjanjian secara bertulis bahawa Tribunal hendaklah mempunyai bidang kuasa untuk mendengar dan memutuskan tuntutan itu.
(2) Suatu perjanjian boleh dibuat di bawah subseksyen (1)—
(a) sebelum tuntutan dikemukakan di bawah seksyen 44; atau
(b) jika tuntutan telah dikemukakan di bawah seksyen 44, pada bilabila masa sebelum Tribunal merekodkan penyelesaian yang dipersetujui berkenaan dengan tuntutan itu di bawah subseksyen 52(3) atau telah memutuskan tuntutan itu di bawah seksyen 57, mengikut mana-mana yang berkenaan.
