s 54 Procedure for taking sample

(1) Where it is intended to submit any sample of any organism or product that is suspected of being or containing living modified organism or product of such organism for analysis the enforcement officer purchasing or otherwise procuring the sample shall inform the seller, manufacturer or importer or his or its agent or servant from whom the said organism or product is purchased or otherwise procured that he intends to have the sample analysed by an analyst. (2) The procedure for taking and dealing with the samples shall be as prescribed by regulations.

Tatacara bagi pengambilan sampel

(1) Jika dimaksudkan untuk dikemukakan apa-apa sampel bagi mana-mana organisma atau hasilan yang disyaki merupakan atau mengandungi organisma diubah suai yang hidup atau hasilan organisma sedemikian bagi analisis pegawai penguat kuasa yang membeli atau selainnya memperoleh sampel itu hendaklah memberitahu penjual, pengilang atau pengimport atau ejen atau pekhidmatnya atau ejen atau pekhidmat pertubuhan perbadanan itu yang daripadanya organisma atau hasilan tersebut dibeli atau selainnya diperoleh bahawa dia bermaksud sampel itu dianalisis oleh seorang juruanalisis. (2) Tatacara bagi mengambil dan berurusan dengan sampel itu hendaklah sebagaimana yang ditetapkan oleh peraturan-peraturan.
