Malaysian Qualifications Agency Act 2007 s 57
s 57 Power to grant or refuse accreditation
(1) A f t e r h a v i n g c o n s i d e r e d a n a p p l i c a t i o n u n d e r subsection 56(1), the Agency may—
(a) grant the application and issue a certificate of accreditation to the higher education provider upon payment of the prescribed fees; or
(b) refuse the application, stating the grounds for refusal.
(2) Upon issuance of the certificate of accreditation under paragraph (1)(a) the Agency shall enter the particulars of the certificate into the Register.
(3) For the purpose of considering an application under subsection 56(1), the Agency may conduct an institutional audit.

Kuasa untuk membenarkan atau menolak akreditasi
(1) Selepas menimbangkan sesuatu permohonan di bawah subseksyen 56(1), Agensi boleh—
(a) membenarkan permohonan itu dan mengeluarkan suatu perakuan akreditasi kepada pemberi pendidikan tinggi selepas dibayar fi yang ditetapkan; atau
(b) menolak permohonan itu, dengan menyatakan alasan bagi penolakan itu.
(2) Apabila perakuan akreditasi di bawah perenggan (1)(a) dikeluarkan, Agensi hendaklah memasukkan butir-butir perakuan itu ke dalam Daftar.
(3) Bagi maksud menimbangkan sesuatu permohonan di bawah subseksyen 56(1), Agensi boleh menjalankan audit institusi.
