East Coast Economic Region Development Council Act 2008 s 54
s 54 Things done in anticipation of the enactment of this Act
All acts and things done on behalf of the Council in preparation for or in anticipation of the enactment of this Act and any expenditure incurred in relation thereto shall be deemed to have been authorized under this Act, provided that the acts and things done are consistent with the general intention and purposes of this Act; and all rights and obligations acquired or incurred as a result of the doing of those acts or things including any expenditure incurred in relation thereto shall upon the coming into operation of this Act be deemed to be the rights and obligations of the Council.

Perkara yang dilakukan dalam menjangkakan Akta ini akan diperbuat
Segala perbuatan dan benda yang dilakukan bagi pihak Majlis sebagai persediaan bagi atau dalam menjangkakan Akta ini diperbuat dan apa-apa perbelanjaan yang dilakukan berhubung dengannya hendaklah disifatkan telah dibenarkan di bawah Akta ini, dengan syarat bahawa perbuatan dan benda yang dilakukan itu selaras dengan niat dan maksud am Akta ini; dan segala hak dan obligasi yang diperoleh atau ditanggung akibat pelakuan perbuatan atau benda itu termasuk apa-apa perbelanjaan yang dilakukan berhubung dengannya hendaklah apabila Akta ini mula berkuat kuasa disifatkan sebagai hak dan obligasi Majlis.
