Sections 58β59 were repealed by later amendments.
(1) An authorized officer shall have all the powers necessary to carry out an inspection and to investigate the commission of any offence under this Act. (2) Without prejudice to the generality of subsection (1), for the purpose of the investigation of any offence under this Act, an authorized officer shall have all the powers which the authorized officer may exercise under any written law and the Criminal Procedure Code [Act 593].
Kuasa penyiasatan
(1) Seseorang pegawai diberi kuasa hendaklah mempunyai segala kuasa yang perlu untuk menjalankan pemeriksaan dan untuk menyiasat pelakuan mana-mana kesalahan di bawah Akta ini. (2) Tanpa menjejaskan keluasan subseksyen (1), bagi maksud penyiasatan apa-apa kesalahan di bawah Akta ini, seseorang pegawai diberi kuasa hendaklah mempunyai segala kuasa yang boleh dijalankan oleh pegawai diberi kuasa itu di bawah manamana undang-undang bertulis dan Kanun Tatacara Jenayah [Akta 593].
