Sections 58–59 were repealed by later amendments.

s 46 Obstruction of authorized officer

(1) No person shall obstruct, impede or interfere with an authorized officer in the performance of his functions under this Act. (2) A person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be punished with a fine not exceeding five million ringgit or with imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or with both.

Halangan pegawai diberi kuasa

(1) Tiada seorang pun boleh menghalang, menggalang atau menggangu pegawai diberi kuasa dalam pelaksanaan fungsinya di bawah Akta ini. (2) Seseorang yang melanggar subseksyen (1) melakukan suatu kesalahan dan hendaklah, apabila disabitkan, dihukum dengan denda tidak melebihi lima juta ringgit atau dengan pemenjaraan selama tempoh tidak melebihi lima tahun atau dengan keduaduanya.
