Where the Registrar is of the opinion that it is in the public interest so to do, he may carry out or continue an investigation initiated by a complaint notwithstanding that the complainant has withdrawn the complaint and, in any such case, the provisions of this Act shall apply to the complaint and the complainant as if the complaint had not been withdrawn.
Pendaftar boleh menjalankan atau meneruskan penyiasatan yang dimulakan melalui aduan walaupun aduan ditarik balik
Jika Pendaftar berpendapat bahawa adalah demi kepentingan awam untuk berbuat demikian, dia boleh menjalankan atau meneruskan sesuatu penyiasatan yang dimulakan melalui suatu aduan walaupun pengadu telah menarik balik aduan itu dan, dalam mana-mana hal sedemikian, peruntukan Akta ini hendaklah terpakai bagi aduan dan pengadu itu seolah-olah aduan itu tidak ditarik balik.
