Malaysia Deposit Insurance Corporation Act 2011 s 17
s 17 Duties of directors
(1) A director of the Board shall, at all times, act honestly and in the best interest of the Corporation and use reasonable diligence in the discharge of the duties of his office.
(2) A director or any person who has been a director shall not—
(a) make improper use of any information acquired by virtue of his position as a director to gain, directly or indirectly, an advantage for himself or for any other person; or
(b) do, say or publish anything which may be detrimental to the interests of the Corporation.

Tugas pengarah
(1) Seorang pengarah Lembaga hendaklah, pada setiap masa, bertindak dengan jujur dan demi kepentingan Perbadanan dan menggunakan usaha yang munasabah dalam menunaikan tugas jawatannya.
(2) Seorang pengarah atau mana-mana orang yang pernah menjadi seorang pengarah tidak boleh—
(a) menggunakan secara tidak wajar apa-apa maklumat yang diperoleh oleh sebab kedudukannya sebagai seorang pengarah untuk mendapat, secara langsung atau tidak langsung, suatu faedah bagi dirinya atau bagi mana-mana orang lain; atau
(b) melakukan, mengatakan atau menyiarkan apa-apa yang boleh memudaratkan kepentingan Perbadanan.
