Malaysia Deposit Insurance Corporation Act 2011 s 176
s 176 Conservator’s rights to assets of affected person
(1) The conservator may require any person who has in his possession or control asset, books, records, accounts or other documents to which the affected person appears to be entitled to deliver, convey, surrender or transfer the asset, books, records, accounts or other documents to the conservator immediately or within such period as the conservator may direct and such person shall immediately deliver, convey, surrender or transfer such asset, books, records, accounts or other documents to the conservator.
(2) Where the conservator seizes any asset which is not an asset of the affected person and at the time of the seizure, believes, and has reasonable grounds for believing, that he is entitled to seize that asset, then the conservator is not liable to any person in respect of any loss or damage resulting from the seizure unless that loss or damage is caused wilfully by the conservator or any person who acts on his behalf or by the conservator’s own negligence.

Hak konservator ke atas aset orang terjejas
(1) Konservator boleh menghendaki mana-mana orang yang mempunyai dalam milikan atau kawalannya aset, buku, rekod, akaun atau dokumen lain yang orang terjejas ternyata berhak kepadanya supaya menyampaikan, memberikan, menyerahkan atau memindahkan aset, buku, rekod, akaun atau dokumen lain kepada konservator dengan serta merta atau dalam apa-apa tempoh yang diarahkan oleh konservator dan orang itu hendaklah dengan serta merta menyampaikan, memberikan, menyerahkan atau memindahkan aset, buku, rekod, akaun atau dokumen lain itu kepada konservator.
(2) Jika konservator menyita apa-apa aset yang bukan aset orang terjejas dan pada masa penyitaan itu, mempercayai, dan mempunyai alasan yang munasabah untuk mempercayai, bahawa dia berhak untuk menyita aset itu, maka konservator tidak bertanggungan kepada
mana-mana orang berkenaan dengan apa-apa kerugian atau kerosakan yang diakibatkan oleh penyitaan itu melainkan jika kerugian atau kerosakan itu disebabkan dengan sengaja oleh konservator atau mana-mana orang yang bertindak bagi pihaknya atau oleh kecuaian konservator sendiri.
