Food Analysts Act 2011 s 24
(1) The Council shall establish a Disciplinary Committee to hold an inquiry on any disciplinary matter. (2) In conducting an inquiry, the Disciplinary Committee shall not be bound by the provisions of the Evidence Act 1950 or by any legal procedure but may conduct the inquiry in a manner it deems fit. (3) The Council may suspend temporarily the registration of a registered food analyst pending the decision of the Council on the result of any inquiry or the disposal of any appeal.
Siasatan
(1) Majlis hendaklah menubuhkan suatu Jawatankuasa Tatatertib untuk mengadakan siasatan ke atas apa-apa perkara tatatertib. (2) Dalam menjalankan siasatan, Jawatankuasa Tatatertib tidaklah terikat dengan peruntukan Akta Keterangan 1950 atau oleh mana-mana tatacara perundangan tetapi boleh menjalankan siasatan mengikut cara yang difikirkannya sesuai. (3) Majlis boleh menggantung secara sementara pendaftaran seseorang juruanalisis makanan berdaftar sementara menunggu keputusan Majlis tentang keputusan apa-apa siasatan atau pelupusan apa-apa rayuan.
