(1) The Corporation, with the approval of the Minister, shall prescribe the criteria for application to purchase or rent PR1MA homes which shall be based on the following factors:
(a) Malaysian citizenship;
(b) the income level of the applicant;
(c) the status of ownership of property of the applicant; and
(d) any other factors which the Minister, on the advice of the Corporation, deems fit.
(2) Any person who meets the criteria prescribed under subsection (1) may apply to the Corporation to purchase or rent PR1MA homes by submitting a written application to the Corporation in such manner as may be prescribed by the Corporation.

Kriteria berhubung dengan orang yang layak
(1) Perbadanan, dengan kelulusan Menteri, hendaklah menetapkan kriteria bagi permohonan untuk membeli atau menyewa kediaman PR1MA yang hendaklah berdasarkan faktorfaktor yang berikut:
(a) kewarganegaraan Malaysia;
(b) tahap pendapatan pemohon;
(c) status pemunyaan harta pemohon; dan
(d) apa-apa faktor lain yang disifatkan patut oleh Menteri, atas nasihat Perbadanan.
(2) Mana-mana orang yang memenuhi kriteria yang ditetapkan di bawah subseksyen (1) boleh memohon kepada Perbadanan untuk membeli atau menyewa kediaman PR1MA dengan mengemukakan suatu permohonan bertulis kepada Perbadanan mengikut apa-apa cara yang ditetapkan oleh Perbadanan.
