s 22 Effect of revocation, surrender or non-renewal of licence
(1) If the suspension or revocation of a licence under section 17 or a surrender of a licence under section 20 has taken effect or where the licence has not been renewed under section 21, the licensee shall immediately cease to provide any facility or service in respect of which the licence was granted.
(2) Notwithstanding subsection (1), the Minister may authorize the licensee in writing to carry on providing any facility or service for such duration and upon such terms and conditions as the Minister may specify in the authorization for the purpose of winding up the licensee’s affairs.
(3) Subject to subsection (2), a person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding five hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to both.

Kesan pembatalan, penyerahan atau tidak memperbaharui lesen
(1) Jika penggantungan dan pembatalan suatu lesen di bawah seksyen 17 atau penyerahan suatu lesen di bawah seksyen 20 telah berkuat kuasa atau jika lesen itu tidak diperbaharui di bawah seksyen 21, pemegang lesen itu hendaklah dengan segera terhenti untuk menyediakan apa-apa kemudahan atau perkhidmatan yang berkenaan dengannya lesen itu telah diberikan.
(2) Walau apa pun subseksyen (1), Menteri boleh membenarkan pemegang lesen itu secara bertulis untuk terus menyediakan apa-apa kemudahan atau perkhidmatan bagi apa-apa jangka masa dan atas apaapa terma dan syarat yang dinyatakan oleh Menteri dalam kebenaran itu bagi maksud menggulungkan hal ehwal pemegang lesen itu.
(3) Tertakluk kepada subseksyen (2), seseorang yang melanggar subseksyen (1) melakukan suatu kesalahan dan boleh, apabila disabitkan, didenda tidak melebihi lima ratus ribu ringgit atau
dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi lima tahun atau keduaduanya.
