Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 s 26
s 26 Evidence of accomplice and agent provocateur
(1) Notwithstanding any rule of law or any other written law to the contrary, in any proceedings against any person for a security offence—
(a) no witness shall be regarded as an accomplice by reason only of such witness having been in any manner concerned in the commission of the security offence or having knowledge of the commission of the offence; and
(b) no agent provocateur shall be presumed to be unworthy of credit by reason only of his having attempted to abet or abetted the commission of a security offence by any person if the attempt to abet or abetment was for the sole purpose of securing evidence against such person.
(2) Notwithstanding any rule of law or any other written law to the contrary, and that the agent provocateur is a police officer whatever his rank, any statement, whether oral or in writing made to an agent provocateur by any person who is subsequently charged with a security offence shall be admissible as evidence at his trial.

Keterangan oleh rakan sejenayah dan ejen provokasi
(1) Walau apa pun apa-apa rukun undang-undang atau manamana undang-undang bertulis lain yang berlawanan, dalam manamana prosiding terhadap mana-mana orang atas suatu kesalahan keselamatan—
(a) tiada saksi boleh dianggap sebagai rakan sejenayah hanya oleh sebab saksi itu telah dengan apa-apa cara terlibat dalam pelakuan kesalahan keselamatan itu atau mempunyai pengetahuan tentang pelakuan kesalahan keselamatan itu; dan
(b) tiada ejen provokasi boleh dianggap tidak boleh dipercayai hanya oleh sebab dia telah cuba untuk bersubahat dalam atau telah menyubahati dalam pelakuan kesalahan keselamatan itu oleh mana-mana orang jika percubaan untuk bersubahat atau penyubahatan itu adalah bagi maksud semata-mata untuk mendapatkan keterangan terhadap orang itu.
(2) Walau apa pun apa-apa rukun undang-undang atau mana-mana undang-undang bertulis lain yang berlawanan, dan walaupun ejen provokasi itu ialah seorang pegawai polis tidak kira pangkatnya, apa-apa pernyataan, sama ada secara lisan atau bertulis yang dibuat kepada ejen provokasi oleh mana-mana orang yang kemudiannya dipertuduh atas suatu kesalahan keselamatan hendaklah boleh diterima sebagai keterangan semasa perbicaraannya.
