(1) Notwithstanding any other written law, the minimum retirement age of an employee shall be upon the employee attaining the age of sixty years.
(2) The Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, prescribe a minimum retirement age higher than the minimum retirement age provided under subsection (1).
(3) When the Minister prescribes a higher minimum retirement age under subsection (2), the prescribed minimum retirement age shall supersede the minimum retirement age provided under subsection (1).

Umur persaraan minimum
(1) Walau apa-apa pun undang-undang bertulis lain, umur persaraan minimum seseorang pekerja adalah apabila pekerja itu mencapai umur enam puluh tahun.
(2) Menteri boleh, melalui pemberitahuan dalam Warta, menetapkan umur persaraan minimum yang lebih tinggi daripada umur persaraan minimum yang diperuntukkan di bawah subseksyen (1).
(3) Apabila Menteri menetapkan umur persaraan minimum yang lebih tinggi di bawah subseksyen (2), umur persaraan minimum yang ditetapkan itu hendaklah menggantikan umur persaraan minimum yang diperuntukkan di bawah subseksyen (1).
